Spinal Injury Nurses Association
Membership
There are two categories of membership to the Spinal injury Nurses Association.
Full Member: A nurse who is registered with an interest in spinal injuries nursing. Has voting rights.
Associate Member: A person who has an interest in spinal injuries nursing. Does not have voting rights.

The Association
offers the following:
- Full voting
rights at the Annual General Meeting held in conjunction with the annual
Spinal Injury Conference
- Receive
the journal Clinical 43 Notes and the newsletter Free
Wings.
Other benefits:
Affiliation with The College of Nursing which entitled members to membership of the College at a special discounted annual fee, and provides all the benefits of membership of the College, including:
- reduced
cost of courses conducted by the College
- attendance
at the annual College Oration
- free quarterly
issue of nursing.aust
- use of College facilities including online access to nursing resources.
Affiliation also allows for the development of special initiatives between the College and the Association such as:

collaboration to enhance presentations at the Annual Conference
- professional events.

As a carer involved with disability you will have the opportunity to develop skills and update your information through interaction with the Association and its members.
Associates can also present at the conference.
